We have not approached several real projects and that are contributing to form a landscape in mosaic. With these testimonies we want to highlight that it is possible to work to transform our forests into a safer territory and a source of resources against depopulation.
In September of 2018, the initial two years of the agreement for the execution of the Mosaic Project have been completed. While waiting for the continuation in a Mosaic 2, it is time to take stock, point out the achievements and failures and mark the priorities for the new agreement.
The Association is the natural continuation of the Mosaico project. Let’s see its mission and concrete proposals to achieve the objectives of a better defended landscape of fires and more alive.
The University coordinates a LIFE project that will work on three farms: in Hoyos, Valverde and Moraleja. This project fully converges with the interests of the Mosaic project and is already generating its own network of collaborators, who will benefit from the proposed objectives of prevention against climate change, and the strengthening of productive activities..
